University of Visual and Performing Arts reopens

Colombo, July 13 (Daily Mirror) - The University of the Visual and Performing Arts in Colombo resumed its academic activities today (13) after the institution was temporarily closed for nearly two weeks due to a surge in dengue and viral fever cases.

The university had suspended academic activities from July 2 as a precautionary measure following the spread of dengue among students and staff. 

During the closure, authorities carried out extensive dengue control and sanitation measures across the campus.
