Ukrainian captain of Avant-Garde re-remanded

The 49-year-old Ukrainian captain of the Avant-Garde vessel was further remanded till July 18 by Galle Magistrate Nilupuli Lankapura today. He was arrested on charges of importing illegal fire arms and keeping ammunitions in his possession illegally.
