US, Iran dialogue humanity’s greatest strength: Sajith

Colombo, June 15 (Daily Mirror) - The reported breakthrough between the United States and Iran is a reminder that dialogue remains humanity’s greatest strength, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said while highlighting the need for the continuation of peace. 

Premadasa said this in his latest social media post. 

"Sri Lanka knows the cost of division and the value of reconciliation. Peace is not simply the absence of war, it is the presence of hope, dignity, opportunity and the confidence that our children will inherit a better future," Premadasa said.

"The people of the world deserve nothing less. May peace prevail," he added.
