Colombo, January 28 (Daily Mirror) - While highlighting that talks between his party and United National Party (UNP) has been a success, Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Mujibur Rahman said today that the UNP will soon become a partner of the SJB.

"The UNP will be one of our partners soon. We will also talk to a number of other parties as well," he said.

The only MP who got the highest number of votes is Sajith which was 145,000 votes while Ranil did not contest but came from the rear door with prevailed deals with Rajapakshas’, as he could not get elected last time. Yes indeed. The UNP could not get more than 200,000 votes all over the country excluding the CWC and the NDF votes. To hide that the UNP want to hang on to some other party and protect their gentleman dealers, rogues and thieves. The UNP, the party which cannot get 0.2 M votes, now dictate terms to the SJB which got nearly 2 M votes to accept their proposals of a leadership council (a failed system of the UNP), a common symbol and a party and an acceptable secretary to it, by the 10th of February. The SJB leadership must be crazy and consist of lunatics to accept their proposals. NPP never had any coalition with any party or any government member and got 159. It is a fact, indeed. So, the UNP shall contest under the telephone symbol, if they want to cover their total disability through the SJB, as last time under the NDF unless the UNP leadership is given to Sajith, as the first step.
