UNP forms committee to initiate dialogue with SJB

Colombo, Oct. 16 (Daily Mirror) - The United National Party (UNP) has appointed a three-member committee to open talks with the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) aimed at reconciliation.

According to an official statement today, the committee comprises UNP Deputy Leader Ruwan Wijewardene, General Secretary Talatha Athukorala, and lawyer Ronald Perera. The group will spearhead efforts to engage the SJB in dialogue and explore avenues for political reconciliation.
