UNP denies social media report on May Day rally
Colombo, April 20 (Daily Mirror) - The United National Party (UNP) today denied the social media report which said the party is to hold a joint May Day rally with other parties.
An official statement from the party said there will be no May Day celebrations by the party as it is a full moon Poya day.
“The UNP will not hold any May Day rally alone or with other parties,” the statement said.
