Mr. President, Why are we allowing European officials to speak about human rights in our country, when their own history is filled with colonization, war, and mass human rights violations? From the destruction of Indigenous peoples in the Americas to the bombing of over 20 countries since WWII, millions have died due to Western actions. Europe played a key role in causing two world wars and is complicit in current global conflicts like Palestine. It is deeply hypocritical for those with such a record to lecture others on justice.
