Two youths killed in Vakarai road accident

Colombo, May 26 (Daily Mirror) - Two youths were killed on the spot when their motorcycle veered off the road and crashed into a wall last night in the Panichchankerni area along the Batticaloa–Trincomalee Road.
The victims, both 19 years old and residents of Valachchenai, were rushed to Vakarai Hospital around 10:30 p.m., where they were pronounced dead.
According to police, the two were part of a group of six youths riding on three motorcycles, returning home after purchasing garments from Vakarai Town.
Police further stated that none of the victims were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
