Two killed in motorcycle-bus collision

Colombo, July 13 (Daily Mirror) - Two men were killed when a motorcycle collided head-on against a private bus at Mallehewa on the Meerigama-Pasyala main road this morning.

The rider and the pillion rider were pronounced dead on admission to the Wathupitiwala Hospital.

The deceased are 25 and 35-year-old men from Amithirigala and Dehiowita.

The driver of the bus has been arrested over the accident.

Motor biker's are a menace on the road. The way they ride as if the road belongs to the and also the sound pollution they make. I have no sympathy for such rider's. Death or sever injury is the only thing they will get.

Dhobi Joshua, that is exactly what tge Ministers in NPP are doing. They are not doing ministerial duties but they go and do the drivers job. So they cannot see what the causes of road accidents are, that is why he blames roads for the accidents most of the times. Instead of driving buses and he should formulate strict laws and get those implemented. This guy Minister is only big talk. No action.

Buses are crazy. Average speed in traffic is 80 km/h. What are the cops doing? They should be concentrating on the buses. The motorbikes are nuts too
