Two persons were killed and three others were injured when a jeep and a bus collided head-on at Malwarawa in Kottawa on the High Level Road this morning, police said.
They said five persons, including the driver of the jeep, were injured in the accident.
They were admitted to the Homagama Hospital and the driver and a passenger of the jeep succumbed to injuries.
The deceased aged 33 and 36 were identified as residents of Meegoda.
