Two girls drown in Galgamuwa Lake

Too many die of drowning in sri.lanka. Most of them are young healthy people..This is mostly preventable. Swimming lesson should be part of the education for children. Life guards need to be placed at vulnerable sites. Basic life support techniques should be part of higher education.

The government cannot legalise rule and regulations for every human actions and every flick of eyes of people : it is people who should take some responsibility when they go rivers , lakes and beeches to bath : it is very sad to see accidental death rates in every walks of life : we need to educate our people on health and safety measures at all levels from primary schools to university education: Please introduce some subjects on health and safety in our works, offices, schools , colleges and all other places even in our mountains and hills and rivers: I feel very sad when our young people die like ? If I do even I don’t know how sad will br for their parents ? Please do something to avoid accidential death like this Appoint some safety staff in some important lakes, riverside and beaches Take care and protect human lives
