Two close accomplices of ’Ganemulla Sanjeewa’ arrested

The Special Task Force of Police (STF) has arrested two close accomplices of organized criminal 'Ganemulla Sanjeewa' during a raid in Gampaha.

The STF said the suspects were arrested with 30g of heroin, a sword, seven mobile phones and Rs. 120,000 in cash by the STF personnel at the Gonahena Camp.

During the initial investigations, it was revealed that one of the suspects was using these phones to give them shooting orders and committing crimes.

The suspects were handed over to the Gampaha Police Station for further investigation.
