It's a simple connection. I mean the statement about " greedy for foreign exchange". SL does not have a high value added economy. We have too many politicians and hangers on. Opportunities are few, tge educational system turns out people who really cannot do anything that will add value - so they either work in govt, become criminals or emigrate overseas to work. Successive sl government prefer that our masses go abroad to work - the remittances are converted at govt/ politician preferred rates with the foreign funds used to fund the luxry life of politicians and their noot lockers.

Well, thank our government for allowing the Visa free program. Hoefully, NPP government will reverse these Visa free and Driver's License on arrivals programs before it's too late. Applying for Visa is a vetting process to filter the bad apples. Soon, the Poachers too will be arriving, perhaps already here. Cheers.
