Another loss of life and it pains me. Where are the so called thinkers/ experts in wildlife to avoid such a loss of life. Tax payers money is also wasted. Time to privatize Train service. Government must act rather than running the Railways.

Our railway is still in stone age and they like to remain that way. This could have been easily solved with GPS speed monitoring from central control so drivers are not exceeding the posted speed limit. At night, speed limit should be lowered further. Speed where this accident occurred was suppose to be at 20kmph. Since this is just one elephant this time, no action will be taken. If 4-5 elephants die next time, they will clean the bush around the tracks and put on a small media show and go back to business as usual. AKD is not interested in animal welfare.
