Train derails near Ihala Kotte, disrupting upcountry line

Colombo, Oct. 19 (Daily Mirror) - An intercity express train traveling from Kandy to Colombo Fort at 3:00 pm derailed near Ihala Kotte Railway Station today, the Railways Department said.

According to the department, only one carriage was affected, but the incident has caused disruptions to services on the Upcountry Line.
