Tour guide arrested over stabbing during tourist dispute

Colombo, April 17 (Daily Mirror) - Another tour guide involved in the stabbing of a fellow guide during a dispute over sharing tourists last evening (16) was arrested by the Kalutara North Police.

The victim, Karunamuni Sumith Roshan De Silva (39), a resident of Kuda Waskaduwa, told police that a tourist he was dealing with had been lured away by the suspect. When he confronted the suspect about it, he was stabbed.

Officer-in-Charge of the Kalutara North Police, Chief Inspector Damith K. Jayatileka is conducting further investigations.
