Thundershowers expected by afternoon or night

Colombo, March 13 (Daily Mirror) - Thundershowers will occur at a few places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Southern Provinces and in the Kurunegala district during the afternoon or night, the Forecasting Division of the National Meteorological Centre said.

Meanwhile, a few showers will occur in the Eastern Province and in the Mullaittivu district.

Therefore the public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimise damages caused by
temporary localised strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
