Three arrested over Col. 7 gas heist
Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the theft of three gas cylinders from a lorry carrying LP gas cylinders on Flower Road in Colombo 07.
Police said an incident was reported on Flower Road on Thursday (29) where three individuals on a three-wheeler had forcibly grabbed three new gas cylinders from a lorry carrying gas cylinders after returning two empty cylinders. The arrest took place after the Colpetty police initiated an investigation into the incident. This incident occurred amidst a gas shortage in Sri Lanka with the public facing difficulties in continuing with their daily cooking needs.Comments - 6
