Third Randoli Perahera tonight

The third Randoli Perahera of the historic Kandy Esala Festival is set to take place tonight (6), with the parade departing from the Sri Dalada Maligawa at the auspicious hour of 7:06 p.m.

The procession will follow its traditional route, proceeding along Dalada Street, Kotugodella Street, Colombo Street, Yatinuwara Street, Kumara Street, and D.S. Senanayake Street, before returning to the Sri Dalada Maligawa via Raja Weediya.

Thousands of devotees and spectators are expected to gather to witness the majestic cultural and religious display, which is held in honour of the Sacred Tooth Relic.
