Former Chairman of the Sri Lanka Cement Corporation Gamini Ekanayake lodged a complaint against State Minister Chamara Sampath Dasanayake with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

He alleged that theft amounting to billions of rupees has taken place at the state-owned Kankasanthurai cement factory with the endorsement of the Minister.

At last someone had the courage to pin point the appalling attitude of our ministers. The public knew about the theft. However it’s with the connivance of the forces it was pilfered, metals stolen and what not. A disgrace. Why not open up the cement factory. Seek help from a friendly foreign country.

Nothing new, as expected of all our ministers. Bribe, murder, mayhem etc, etc are all conducted by these so called "LAW MAKERS". Lots of people from the South had gone to KKS with the minister's blessing and removing the metals from the KKS Cement factory. The ARMY which was guarding the premises, suddenly vacated? Wondering, whether these politicians come to power to enrich themselves? Why not political parties place well educated candidates in the elections as opposed to known Crooks and Thugs!
