Term of Acting President of Court of Appeal extended

Not sure why judge manikavasagar Ilancheliyan term couldn't extend. He should have been promoted as a high court judge. Is there any discrimination still exists in the country. Just to let you know that world is watching.

I write to put to rest any misconceptions that may arise among the public regarding the above article. Extending the term of Acting President of the Court of Appeal is only a ceremonial function as Hon. Lafar is the senior-most judge in the Court of Appeal. It shouldn't be misinterpreted as an extension of service of the Hon. Judge as he is yet to reach his age of retirement. This act of extending the Term of the Acting President of the Court of Appeal is until such time a Permanent President of the Appeal is appointed.
