Bangladesh's Tamim Iqbal has reversed his decision to retire from playing international cricket after meeting the country's Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, foreign media reported.
Iqbal announced his retirement on Thursday, but was invited for a meeting by the Prime Minister on Friday afternoon, after which he withdrew his retirement.
Iqbal had reportedly attended the meeting with his wife, with former captain Mashrafe Mortaza and Bangladesh Cricket Board President Nazmul Hassan also in attendance.
