Suspect remanded over fraudulent registration

Colombo, July 3 (Daily Mirror) - A suspect arrested for aiding and abetting the illegal registration of a Toyota vehicle that had not been cleared by the Sri Lanka Customs and had no prior registration, was ordered to be remanded till July 8 by Colombo Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali Jayatunga.

The suspect, Maddumage Dhanushka Nuwan Gunaratna, was arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) and produced before court.
