Suspect arrested over shooting of Dan Priyasad

A 52-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Local Council candidate Dan Priyasad, police said.

The arrest was made in Kurunduwatta, Colombo.

Police also revealed that the suspect is reportedly linked to the earlier killing of Priyasad’s brother.
