Suspect arrested for obstructing police duties, remanded

The individual who had obstructed duties of two Traffic Police officers in Delkanda recently were remanded until December 23, by the Nugegoda Additional Magistrate today, Police said.

Police arrested the suspect yesterday after a video of a man threatening two police officers on duty went viral on social media.

Investigations revealed that the incident took place in Delkanda, Nugegoda when the officers had signalled a motorist to stop the vehicle for violating traffic rules.

BS!!! Look at the no of cops accompanying one man!!!??? Had he committed a murder!??? A serial rapist!!??? Serial killer!!??? Whereas all the other criminals including VVIPs and VIPs are roaming free!! Must be a slow day of New for DM to report on this nonsense!! There's no crime the man committed!! What a stupid incident. Making a mountain out of a mole hill by the most corrupt police station in the country!!

These high flying youngsters have a common mental ailment called insomnia. When they are caught, they say "Do you know who I am? Do you know who I am?" Actually they are so much in shock, they forget who they are. A few knock on the head will bring them down to earth.

These youngsters are damn cowards threatening the officers on duty. Not that officers are doing a great job but asking 'do you know who I am" is demonstration of idiotic and cowardly behaviour. The Heroric behaviour is to accept the fault and correct it in future.

Anyway, most guys who go to gyms to puff their bodies with tattoos on their arms are idiots. One exception, saw a puffed and bloated doctor in Kandy.
