Sun directly overhead across Sri Lanka

Colombo, April 5 (Daily Mirror) - The sun will be directly overhead across Sri Lanka from April 5 to 15, due to its apparent northward movement, said the Department of Meteorology.

According to the department, several areas will experience the sun positioned almost directly overhead today (April 5). 

These locations include Dodanduwa, Rathgama, Yakkalamulla, Akuressa, Mulgirigala, Ranna, Kalamatiya and Ussangoda.

The department further stated that this phenomenon is expected to occur at approximately 12:13 p.m. in the areas closest to the overhead position today.
