Sun directly over Sri Lanka for 10 days

Colombo, August 28 (Daily Mirror) - The sun is expected to be directly over Sri Lanka from today (28) to September 7, as a result of its apparent southward relative motion, the Forecasting Division of the National Meteorological Centre said.

Accordingly, the nearest areas in Sri Lanka where the sun will be directly above are Kumulamunai, Padinaddampore, Alankulam, Thanniyuttu, Vettappalai, and Mullaitivu at around 12:11 noon, the Department said.
