Strong winds, rain expected across several provinces

Colombo, May 29 (Daily Mirror) - The Meteorological Department has issued a weather advisory warning of fairly strong winds and showers across multiple provinces in Sri Lanka due to the strengthening of South-West monsoonal conditions.

Accordingly, strong winds of 50- 60 kmph are expected over the western slopes of the central hills and in the Northern, North-Central, and North-Western p

Provinces, as well as in the Hambantota and Trincomalee districts. 

The Meteorological Department advises the public to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions to ensure safety during these adverse weather conditions.
