Sri Lankan state leaders invited for official visit to France

Colombo, Oct. 13 (Daily Mirror) - The French government has invited Sri Lankan state leaders for an official visit to France, the National People's Power (NPP) said.

The invitation was extended when French Ambassador to Sri Lanka Rémi Lambert met with Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) General Secretary Tilvin Silva today.

The ambassador said that France has no hidden agenda in dealing with Sri Lanka.

The ambassador also commended the programmes carried forward after the NPP government had come into power.
