Colombo, Dec. 22 (Daily Mirror)- Sri Lanka's export earnings from January to November 2025 has recorded USD 15,776 million, an annual growth of 5.8 per cent when compared to the same period in 2024, Chairman and CEO of the Export Development Board, Mangala Wijesinghe said.
He told a media briefing that Sri Lanka has recorded USD 15,776 export earnings from January to November 2025, whereas it was USD 12,417 million in 2024.
Wijesinghe said the total export earnings in the merchandise and services sectors in November 2025 were USD 1,364 million, an annual growth of 5.56 per cent compared to November 2024.
He said Sri Lanka's export revenue target was USD 18 billion for 2025 and that 86.3% of the annual export target was achieved by the end of November 2025.
"Merchandise exports during the period from January to November 2025 were USD 12,417.98 million. This is an increase of 6.41% compared to January to November 2024," Wijesinghe said.
He said in November 2025, the revenue received from services exports has increased by 4.27% to USD 311.3 million, while service exports have increased by 3.63% to USD 3,358.38 million during the period from January to November 2025.
