Sri Lanka notes positively at Xi Jinping’s proposals at (SCO) Plus meeting: Vijitha
Colombo, September 1 (Daily Mirror) - Sri Lanka notes positively at the Global Development, Security and Civilisation Initiatives, as well as the Global Governance Initiative proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Plus meeting in Tianjin, Foriegn Minister Vijitha Herath said.
Posting on X, he said, "I took note positively of the Global Development, Security and Civilisation Initiatives, as well as the Global Governance Initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping at the SCO Plus meeting in Tianjin, which is founded on the principles of sovereign equality, rule of law, multilateralism, people-centred development and action-oriented cooperation."
