Colombo, July 23 (Daily Mirror) - Sri Lanka has managed to attract USD 507 million in foreign investments so far this year, Minister of Foreign Affairs Vijitha Hearth told Parliament.

He said Sri Lanka also receives USD 600 million monthly as remittance.

"Sri Lanka's economy has stabilised and we are confident that the revenue targets will be achieved," he said.

He also said that the restructure of bilateral debts will be completed soon.

I am an NPP supporter but this doesn’t make any sense. You attract US$ 507 million as FDI and spend $500 million on a clock. The corrupt Rajapakses spent $300 million on a useless airport. So please explain to me how the clock is going bring you an income. The corrosive nature of the sea at the ports city will eat this expenditure before it can become a visitor’s attraction and earn any money. Watch out NPP. Govern with your head.
