Colombo, April 11 (Daily Mirror) - Sri Lanka is expected to face consequences due to delays in implementing economic and political reforms, UNP Chairman Vajira Abeygunawardena said today.
Speaking at a media briefing, Abeygunawardena stated that the next tranche of the IMF loan could be delayed, as Sri Lanka has been slow in implementing the reform process, including the anti-corruption programme.
"Sri Lanka could begin to feel the consequences by December this year," he said
