Colombo, March 18 (Daily Mirror) - The Sri Lanka Air Force has issued a public notice reminding both local and foreign individuals to strictly adhere to regulations governing the use of drones in the country.
According to the Air Force, operating drones without proper authorization is strictly prohibited in Sri Lanka. Authorities have previously taken legal action against individuals who flew drones in high-security zones without obtaining the necessary approvals.
The Air Force said that all drone operators must secure proper permission from relevant authorities before conducting any aerial activity. The warning comes amid ongoing concerns over national security and unauthorized surveillance.
