Special trains for school vacation, Sri Pada pilgrimage

Colombo, March 27 (Daily Mirror) - The Railways Department has made special train arrangements during the school vacation and the Sri Pada pilgrimage.

Train services between Colombo Fort and Badulla, Anuradhapura and Trincomalee will be scheduled to operate during this period.

The department also announced that reservations for first, second, and third-class compartments have been made available for these train services.

Accordingly:

Special Train 1 will operate from Colombo Fort to Badulla on March 28 and 31, departing at 7:30 p.m.

Special Train 2 will operate from Badulla to Colombo Fort on March 28 and 31, departing at 5:20 p.m.

Special Train 3 will operate from Colombo Fort to Anuradhapura on March 29, 30, and 31, departing at 6:25 a.m.

Special Train 4 will operate from Anuradhapura to Colombo Fort on March 29, 30, and 31, departing at 5:20 p.m.

Special Train 5 will operate from Colombo Fort to Trincomalee on March 29, 30, and 31, departing at 5:15 a.m.

Special Train 4 will operate from Trincomalee to Colombo Fort on March 29, 30, and 31, departing at 1:00 p.m.
