Special train services to Kandy suspended until further notice

Colombo, April 24 (Daily Mirror) - The special train services arranged for the exposition of the Sacred Tooth Relic at the Sri Dalada Maligawa have been suspended until further notice, the Railways Department announced.

The decision was made following a request from the Police Department due to the unexpected large crowds arriving in Kandy.

@Perera Yes after the aragalya disaster the economy was brought down from bad to worse as you stated to the rock. Then who brought it up ? Could be your grandmother !! Then given to newly elected government to continue the path.

Good idea, Stop the extra buses too. True, the Police Department cannot control the crowds if these trains and buses are operated.

Govt requested the exposition and invited the public and now is unable to provide facilities to the pilgrims. A complete disaster just like the clean Sri Lanka campaign. The government officers are showing a laid back attitude towards this govt
