Special Commodity Levy on Potatoes, B’onions rescinded from midnight today

The Special Commodity Levy on Potatoes and Big onions would be rescinded with effect from midnight today, the Finance Ministry said.

Accordingly, a kilo of potatoes and big onions would be reduced by Rs. 30 from January 01, 2022.
