South African President celebrates his birthday at BIA

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has celebrated his 70th Birthday at the Sri Lanka Air Force base, Katunayake last night during his short visit to the island.

President Ranil Wickremesinghe also joined the celebration.

This is one of best friendship gestures ... although I do not like Ranil Politics I appreciate this kind of high skillful diplomacy ..This gives a good impression about us and about our kind nature and a sense of our hospitality towards all nations in the world ...Sri Lankan people welcome all guests from international community from all nations.. I like this kind of innovative diplomatic exposure and display....we must respect all world political leaders and maintain our balanced foreign policy as much as possible.. highly appreciate all people behind this

My personnal view is this is show case rw s political career and this has no benifit to sl people...people suffer every day...this is like jr jayawaaaa.in his speech japan in UN what happened...jr got the credit...still sl is poor . now totally bankcrupt...all the best sri lanka...

All these are personnal and political agendas..to my knoledge....as a senior M manger i srved for a company for 9 years i do not have job for the last 4 years and i know what these private companies so called big boss and political people what they do...this country has no future..

Dear Chanaka... Yes we have our economic problems and we have our own political and personal issues and problems...but let us keep those within our self as Sri Lankans of all communities...we were fighting one another for 30 years but it was our internal problems ....but when it come international display and international interactions we as Sri Lankans must shows our possible side ..our historical kindness; love ; affection and good will ..since ancient time Srilankan kings have been welcoming and showing our hospitality towards to all foreign rulers and diplomatic in this sense what Ranil did in this occasion is great thing to build our image in this difficult..if we need support of all international community to overcome our economic crisis this kind of diplomatic display is a must . Thank you our president for this good will gesture and show of great display
