Soldier arrested for threatening to release schoolgirl’s nude photos
A soldier was arrested by the Katugastota police for threatening a 17-year-old schoolgirl that her nude photos will be released on social media, Police said.
Police arrested the suspect during investigations into the schoolgirl’s complaint against him.
The suspect who is attached to the Minneriya military base was arrested by the military police on information from the Katugastota police and handed over to the police.
The 23-year-old suspect is a resident of Purundangama in Anuradhapura. (Shane Senavirathne)
