Skinned leopard carcass found at Maduru Oya National Park



Colombo, August 4 (Daily Mirror) - The Department of Wildlife Conservation (DWC) officials have recovered a skinned leopard carcass today at the Maduru Oya National Park.

According to a post shared  on X  by Leopocon, a non-profit organisation in Sri Lanka, this recovery marks the 14th evidence-based record of leopard poaching this year. 

An adult male leopard was found dead in the Katukitula area in Kotmale a few days ago.
