Cabinet spokesperson Bandula Gunawardena said that with the shortage of material to print driving licenses a proposal has been made to the cabinet to introduce a digital driving license with a QR code.

It should be impleneted soon. One of my friends applied for renewal in April. Still he did not get a printed license. Using a reciept which is non durable. Change the head of department to a young person like Kanchana. Then things will be implemented fast as old fellows does not have any idea to solve it.
