Shooting incidents continue: Another injured in Weliweriya

A person who was travelling in a car in the ​​Weliweriya area was shot at by two unidentified persons riding a motorcycle.

Police said the two persons who had fired the shots had left their motorcycle at the spot and fled in a small lorry.

The injured person, a resident of Udugampola, has been admitted to the Gampaha Hospital for treatment.

The reason for the shooting has not yet been revealed, and the Weliweriya Police is conducting further investigations.
