Shooting in Panadura: One dead, one injured
Colombo, April 29 (Daily Mirror) - One person was killed and another injured following a shooting incident reported in Panadura this morning by two unidentified men who arrived on a motorbike, police said.
The two individuals injured in the shooting were admitted to the Panadura Hospital, where one of them died upon admission. The victim was a 35-year-old resident of Malamulla West in the Panadura area, while the injured person is a 20-year-old from the same area.
Police investigations revealed that a T-56 type firearm was used in the shooting. The Panadura Police are conducting further investigations.
