Shooting in Ambalangoda claims one life
A shooting incident that occurred on Thursday evening in the Idamthota area of Ambalangoda has resulted in the death of a 45-year-old individual.
According to the Ambalangoda Police, the victim, who sustained critical gunshot wounds, was rushed to Balapitiya Hospital for emergency treatment but succumbed to his injuries shortly after admission.
Authorities have yet to determine the motive behind the shooting and further investigations are underway.
