Colombo, Jan. 27 (Daily Mirror) - Shiranthi Rajapaksa, the wife of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, has informed her legal team that she will be unable to appear before the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) today (27) due to personal reasons.

It was reported that she has requested a grace period of two weeks from the FCID before presenting herself for questioning.

Shiranthi Rajapaksa had been summoned to appear before the FCID today in connection with an ongoing investigation into an alleged fraud involving a Siriliya account.
