Colombo, June 5 (Daily Mirror) - Former State Minister Shasheendra Rajapaksa appeared before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) today to provide a statement regarding fertiliser importation during his time in office.

Rajapaksa was summoned as part of an ongoing investigation into allegations linked to fertiliser imports handled under his tenure as a government official.

Speaking to the media after his appearance, Rajapaksa stated that he had submitted all relevant information to assist in a thorough and accurate investigation.

M R change the Devalagam panatha introduced by British prohibiting the appointment of politicians as Basnayaka nilames for Develayas in Srilanka. Despot changed the law and got this man to be appointed as the Basnayaka nilame of Kataragama Devala. It is not a secret to the whole country ,that this man has siphoned out ,enormous amount of money from Kataragama Devala ,while holding the Basnayaka nilame post.

The public should be constantly reminded of the whole families' atrocities. Younger generations should learn of their misdeeds, murders, racial propaganda and actions which brought down this Pearl of the Indian Ocean to rubble. Never allow our kids to forget and forgive these fellows. Shouldn't give them an inch to venture into politics. They're waiting to pounce again, from the shadows.
