Several Dolphins wash ashore in Kalutara

Colombo, May 14 (Daily Mirror) - At least six dolphins were found washed ashore on Kalutara South beach, according to wildlife officials.

The officials of the Veterinary Unit of the Department of Wildlife Conservation stated that the dolphins were discovered with visible injuries.

Further, turbulent ocean conditions may have played a role in the incident, according to the officials.

As such, an investigation is currently underway to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
