Senthil Thondaman survives Kathmandu hotel fire, rescues others



Colombo, Sep 16 (Daily Mirror) - Ceylon Workers' Congress (CWC) President Senthil Thondaman, who was in Nepal recently, had a narrow escape when the hotel he was staying at was set ablaze by protesters during the uprising.

When the fire was blazing, though he had the chance to flee, he took the role of a life saviour as he helped escape a few other guests.

As a mark of gratitude, those who were assisted by him in fleeing the raging fire had showered praise on him on social media.
