Secret vote underway to elect Colombo Mayor
Colombo, June 16 (Daily Mirror) - A secret vote is currently underway to elect the Mayor of the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC).
Earlier, tensions flared during the inaugural session over the election process, with heated arguments among members on whether to hold an open or secret ballot.
However, CMC members eventually agreed to proceed with a secret vote to elect the new Mayor.
