Hands up if you have the money in hundreds of millions to buy a car the size of a matchbox. If you want a car bigger than a match box, get ready to pork out millions more. One wonders how people get such money to buy these hugely expensive vehicles living in a bankrupt country.

As in the EU and most other countries, anyone should be allowed to import a vehicle and from a country of their choice without any licence. Brandnew or up to 2 years old. First of all, you could then buy exactly the vehicle with the equipment that meets your individual needs and wishes and it would be cheaper without the middlemen.

Only less than 1% of the population in Sri Lanka can afford to buy vehicles. People are near starving for want of essential food and medicines. However NPP Government is prepared to spend Rs trillions of public funds to satisfy a few. BRAVO NPP.
